2024 election calendarKey dates and events

The 2024 presidential nominating process kicks off with the Iowa Republican caucuses on Jan. 15. From January to June, voters in all states and territories will pick their party’s nominee for president ahead of the summer conventions. Each state will also host primaries for other federal, state and local offices.

Around 40 elections nights – including caucuses, primaries, special elections and the general election in November – are on The Post’s radar for 2024. Here’s every election event we’re covering this year.
