No. 3 Kansas City Chiefs 26, No. 6 Miami Dolphins 7: In frigid temperatures in Kansas City — it was the fourth-coldest game in NFL history — the Chiefs stomped the Dolphins, holding them to 264 yards of total offense. Despite the chill, Taylor Swift was in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium, and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, helped spark a Chiefs offense that put up 409 yards (262 of them passing) despite the conditions. No. 4 Houston Texans 45, No. 5 Cleveland Browns 14: C.J. Stroud figured out the Browns’ celebrated defense with seeming ease, throwing for 274 yards and three touchdowns, and the Texans were able to capitalize on Joe Flacco’s two interceptions to push the game out of reach in the third quarter. Both No. 1 seeds survived the divisional round, which means the NFC championship will go through San Francisco, the AFC through Baltimore. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will travel to face Lamar Jackson’s Ravens in a game that will pit perhaps the top two quarterbacks in the game. And Jared Goff, a former No. 1 pick, will try to lead the Detroit Lions past the 49ers and Brock Purdy, the last player taken in the 2022 draft.
