Michael de Adder is a political cartoonist for The Washington Post. De Adder was born in Moncton, NB, in 1967 and a graduate of Mount Allison University with a degree in Fine Arts. He has been nominated for six National Newspaper Awards including being nominated in 2021, has been shortlisted for the Reuben, won the Association of American Editorial Cartoonist's Golden Spike Award and is the winner of the 2020 Herblock Prize for editorial cartooning.
